Birthday card using SSS Beautiful Flowers stamp set

Welcome Back!

I have another card using the SSS Fly Me Away card kit. 

I saw a card Kristina Werner did where she stamped the image onto the patterned paper and then colored the image in. 

I used the SSS Beautiful Flowers stamp set on the ModaScrap Fly and Scrap paper for the flowers and sentiment. 

I then colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I used the MFT Blueprints Die-namics 13 rectangle die and mounted onto some black card stock. 

I then jazzed up with some clear sequins to add some shine!

Colorful Emma Background Thank You Card

Hello All!
Man have I got a colorful card for you today.
I wanted to use the SSS Emma background stamp and I just wanted to color!

I stamped the image with Versamark and heat embossed with
Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

I then used a bunch of Zig Clean Color markers to color in the entire image.

The sentiment is from the Avery Elle A Tag for All Die set and cut from some black card stock.
I put it onto some vellum and accented with some sequins.

Distress Oxide Water Painting with W Plus 9 Beatiful Bouquets: Dahlias

Hello!

 Today I have a Mothers Day card I made using a technique from  Jennifer McGuire and the floral and color inspiration from  Gina K. 

I just loved the colors and placement Gina used in that video and had to use Jennifers technique with the Oxides to color it.

I used the W plus 9 Beautiful Bouquets: Dahlias to stamp the images with Vesamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. 

I ink blended the images and background with Lucky Clover, Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. 

I  went over the flowers and leaves with clear water and dabbed up with a paper towel to get a lighter look. I dried the piece and added just a tad more green to the leaves while still applying and dabbing. 

The sentiment on outside comes from the SSS All My Love set and heat embossed onto some vellum. 

I added some sequins to give some shine and also placed a tad bit of glitter glue to the centers to add some extra sparkle and make a bit stronger to go through the mail. 

The inner sentiment is using the Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy stamp set. I used the same flower to stamp inside using the Peacock Feathers Ink.

Birthday Card using Altenew Party Time stamp set

Welcome Back!

This is the card I made for my wonderful Hubby's birthday.

Again I watched Jennifer McGuire's video  where she used the Altenew Party Time stamp set. 

As always she made it look so easy with her free form stamping the images. 

I tried to free form stamp once and that looked like a hot mess. 

I used my Mini Misti to stamp all the images from the Altenew set. I literally copied Jennifer design since I was so intimidated by this and needed direction. lol 

Next time ill be brave to make my own. 

I had the most trouble with the sequins, they are soooo not perfect 

but I know my hubby will not even notice. 

I used some confetti stamps from the Honey Bee Celebration Box and SSS Taco Party stamp sets.

I was having such a stressful time with this and forgot to get all the colors I used but most were from Memento Dew Drops.

I put it onto black card stock base and added some Studio Katia Sparkling Crystals to add some shine.

Rainbow Distress Oxide Blended Birthday card using Nuvo Glimmer Paste

Hello Again!

Today I have a fun Sparkly Rainbow Birthday card. 

I first ink blended the background with Distress Oxide Inks in Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade and Blueprint Sketch.

 I used the MFT Stencil Star Grid to apply the Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone onto it.

The sentiment is the SSS Painted Happy Birthday Wafer Die and I cut it from some Neenah Metallic cards stock in White Gold.

Distress Oxides Used:

Candied Apple

Squeezed  Lemonade

 Blueprint Sketch 

I used the Studio Katia Crystal Rainbow Fusion Sequins to add the coordinating color sequins.

Color Throwdown #499 using Distress Resist Spray

Happy Monday!

I have my submission for the Color Throwdown Challenge #499.

The colors this week are yellow, green and blue.

I had gotten the Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray in the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit.

I read on the label about using with a stencil and I just had to try it.

I used the box that the card kit came in to spray paper. I still got some overspray on my mat but luckily it is glass and able to remove. 

Make sure to instantly wash off the stencil after spraying. 

I then ink blended on top with Distress Oxides in 

Squeezed Lemonade, Lucky Clover and Blueprint Sketch.

I used a clean paper towel to buff off the ink on the splatter parts to make sure showed up with the white. 

I then stamped the You from the SSS You Matter stamp set and heat embossed with some Wow embossing powder in black.
