More Watercolored Birthday Cards using the Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember Exclusive Tie One On

Welcome Back!

I have a couple more cards using the technique I saw from Amy R  video with the overlapping watercoloring.

This time I made two cards. They are both stamped with the Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember® Exclusive Tie One On  balloons in SSS fog ink onto watercolor paper.

They both used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors
but the top is more concentrated in color and the bottom is more watered down.

I used watered down white acrylic paint to add the splatter.

The sentiment is heat embossed onto vellum and Ranger Silver Embossing Powder.

The strings and bows are stamped using the Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink.

I put both onto some black and white patterned paper in my stash and mounted onto a white card base.

Thank you for coming by and have an awesome rest of your day!!

Rainbow Birthday Card using Zig Clean Color Markers and Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember® Exclusive

Hi!
I have another card I made using this fantastic
Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember Tie One On Stamp Set.

This set is going to be my go to set for birthday cards. Sorry in advance because I know there will be more posts with it.
I went step by step with Nichol Spohr's technique from this video

It is such a great video and she taught me so many techniques and made this sooooo much easier than I thought would be.

I stamped the balloons onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock and left the masks on to then use a cloud stencil to ink blend with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass.

I used the same ink to add some splatter and used Broken China Distress Oxide for the sentiment.

I  colored in with
Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
You can see from the pic above...I used a bunch of them.

I decorated the inside with the same stamp set and Distess Oxide Inks.

I hope you also give Nichols technique a try because it was so fun to create and will definitely not be the last!

Till next time.......have a awesome day!

Color Throwdown #527 using SSS Beautiful Flowers

Happy Saturday!

It has been a hot minute since I did a Throwdown post but I am back with

The colors this week are Navy Blue, Green and Gray.

I stamped the large floral image from the SSS Beautiful Flowers stamp set in Versafine ink.

I scribbled the markers over the images and spayed a whole bunch of water
to get it moving to give it a messy watercolor look.

I used a heat gun to dry it and did that process again.

I used Zig Clean Color Markers in :
Deep Blue
Blue
Green
May Green

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Flowers stamp set and the Tie One On stamp set and stamped tie Distress Oxide Ink in Hickory Smoke
I put the piece onto some gray card stock and added some Nuvo drops  in clear.

Thank you for visiting and see you next time!
