More Watercolored Birthday Cards using the Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember Exclusive Tie One On

Welcome Back!

I have a couple more cards using the technique I saw from Amy R  video with the overlapping watercoloring.

This time I made two cards. They are both stamped with the Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember® Exclusive Tie One On  balloons in SSS fog ink onto watercolor paper.

They both used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors
but the top is more concentrated in color and the bottom is more watered down.

I used watered down white acrylic paint to add the splatter.

The sentiment is heat embossed onto vellum and Ranger Silver Embossing Powder.

The strings and bows are stamped using the Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink.

I put both onto some black and white patterned paper in my stash and mounted onto a white card base.

Thank you for coming by and have an awesome rest of your day!!

Birthday Card using the SSS Beautiful Flowers stamp set

Welcome Back

Today I have a Birthday card I made for my co worker.

I just love the SSS Beautiful Flowers stamp set and wanted to make her card using it.

I heat embossed the image onto water color paper and rose gold embossing powder.

I used the Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors to color the images and then flicked on the purple color for some splatter.

The sentiment is the SSS Painted Happy Birthday Wafer Die.

I used the stamp and SSS Fog ink for the inside as well.

Thank you for visiting and see you next time!

Birthday Card using Honey Bee Stamps STAMPtember® Exclusive Tie One On

Hi!
Today I have the card I made for my Dad's Birthday!

I love using that Tim Holtz Wood 3D Embossing Folder and had to incorporate it in the card.

I used some brown paper in my stash to emboss and then used some
Ground Espresso Distress Oxide to "dirty" it up.

The balloons come from the Simon Says Stamp and Honey Bee Designs collab Stamptember set called Tie One On.

I stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and water colored with
Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I fussy cut them out, popped up with foam tape and used some embroidery thread for the strings.

I heat embossed the sentiment ( from the same stamp set) onto some black card stock using Ranger Silver Embossing Powder.

I used the same balloons in the inside with various Distress Oxide Inks.

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope to see you next time!!

Christmas Cards using SSS Milk and Cookies Card Kit

Hey Guys!

I have a couple of cards I made using the SSS Milk and Cookies card kit.

It is such a cute kit and so many ways to use it.

This one was made by stamping in versa mark the gingerbread men onto some gray yardstick and heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I colored in with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.  The sentiment is from the MFT Handwritten Holiday stamp set and heat embossed with the same embossing powder.

This one is heat embossed with Ranger watering can embossing powder onto a lighter gray card stock. I used the same watercolors for the images. I used the MFT Merry Christmas Greeting stamp to heat emboss onto some vellum and hand cut a shadow around it.

Thank you again for checking these out!
I hope to see you later!

Color Throwdown #469 using MFT Merry Christmas Greeting

Welcome back!

Today I have the second card I made for the Color Throwdown #469.

The colors this week are Light Blue, Blue and Silver.

This time I watercolored the background with my Gansai Tambi watercolors.

I then used Versamark to heat emboss this awesome and large My Favorite Things Merry Christmas Greeting Stamp with some Silver Glitter Embossing powder by Recollections.

I then used Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass onto the My Favorite Things Let it Snowflake Too Dienamics.

I used the same embossing powder to make a matte for the background piece.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you in the next post.

Color Throwdown #463 using SSS Fractile Leaves.

Happy Saturday!
I didn't think I would be getting to a post for the Color Throwdown Challenge #463 this week but thanks to Hurricane Nate....I had some time after prepping the house.

The colors this week are Orange, White and Kraft.

I used the same SSS Fractile Leaves stamp set  in last weeks throw down but i just couldn't help using it again this week.

I used Ranger White Detail Embossing Powder to heat emboss the leaves and sentiment. The sentiment comes from the SSS Ornate Leaves stamp set.

I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor markers in orange tones for the leaves. I then embellished with some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Orange Marmalade.

Thanks for stopping by and be safe if in the path of Huricane Nate!

Color Throwdow Challenge #462 using SSS Fractile Leaves

Happy Thursday!

Today’s post is for the Color Throwdown #462.
The colors this week are Rust, Green, Orange and Blue.

I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors for the background and the images.

I wanted a messy watercolor background to be able to show off these
Simon Says Stamp Fractile Leaves. It sort of reminds me like the leaves fell into a river.

I hear embossed the leaves and sentiment with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder.

The Autumn Blessings sentiment comes from the SSS Ornate Leaves stamp set.

I used the same embossing powder to make a matte to put the watercolor piece onto.

Thank you so much for coming by and I’ll see you next time!
