Color Throwdown Challenge #449 using MFT Garden Flourish Background

Happy Challenge Day!

The colors for todays Color Throwdown #449 are Orange, Green and Brown.

I can't lie, when i saw the colors at first i was like...what the heck am I gonna make that is not gonna look like fall?
It may still look like a fall card but I love how it came out.

I first heat embossed the MFT Garden Flourish Background in white.
I then used Distress Oxide Inks in Orange Marmalade and Peeled paint to ink blend onto it.

I used a Paper Studios embossing folder to emboss onto some Kraft card stock in my stash.  I am not sure of the name but it is a bunch of circles and reminds me of bubbles.

I cut two thin strips of the same kraft card stock and then covered up the glue line from attaching the vellum to the distressed piece.

The sentiment is a die from the Avery Elle  A Tag for All Die Set. I used my Wink of Stella Glitter pen in clear to add some sparkle to the sentiment.

Thank you so much for checking out my submission for this weeks challenge
and I will see you next week!

  1. Your card is lovely and honestly I realized after picking them (weeks later) that they could be difficult as they were more fall colors!! You did the background you created!! So glad you joined us!

    1. I am just seeing your comment but I loved the colors and was a fun challenge!
