Autumn Floral using Gina K You Make Me Smile

Hello!

I have a Autumn Floral card today.

I had some Distress Oxides left on my desk and made I background from it

I then stamped the Gina K You Make Me Smile in SSS Intense Black Ink since I will be using Alcohol Markers.

Above are the Spectrum Noir Markers I used to color in the image.

I then used the sentiment and scroll from the SSS Ornate Leaves stamp set and heat embossed with Ranger Princess Gold embossing powder.

I then used the LV2 marker to color the edges  of some card stock to make it match the flower images.  I used SSS Big Momma Foam Tape to mount onto that purple piece.

I used the same image and stamped on the inside with SSS Fog ink.

Thank you so much for coming over and see you later!

Shadowbox Birthday Card using MFT Otterly Love You stamp set

Hello!
Today I have my first shadowbox card. I tried to do the tunnel technique Jennifer McGuire showed but I just couldn't get to work so instead I decided to go with the shadowbox version.

I used ver dimensions to a T to make the card and before assembly I ink blended the panels.

I used Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean for the sky and water bits then used Twisted Citron, Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn for the seaweed.

Spectrum Noir Markers used for otters:
PP1
PP3
IG1
IG4
GB8
GB10
EB1

I then used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Grey mist to add some bubbles and shine.

It came out so cute and hopefully can upgrade to a tunnel version lol

Thanks for coming by and see you next time!

Happy Birthday Galaxy Card using Distress Oxide Blending

Today I have a fun colorful card for you!
I made this card for my Father in Law's birthday.

I am a sucker for galaxy anything and I wanted to play with the Distress Oxides and make a galaxy background.

These inks just blend so nice and made the background so easy to put together.
I used Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Wilted Violet and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks and then I used Black Soot Distress Ink along the outside.

I then spritzed water to it to give the faded out spots and then flicked some cheap-o white acrylic paint to create the stars.

I made this a while ago but I'm 99% sure the sentiment is one I got from the Silhouette Design store. After I cut it I put some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush pen to it. I smoothed versa mark onto it and then coated in Recollections Clear Embossing Powder to make it shiny.

I made a matching envelope for it and of course used a Star Trek stamp to mail it off!

Do you love a galaxy look as much as I do?

Thank you for stopping by!
See you next time!

Thank you card with Distress Oxide Resist Background and Alltenew Halftone Circles Stamp Set and Die

Hey Everyone!

I just love this Altenew Halftone Circles Stamp Set. They are so simple but man look stunning with a distress background. It almost reminds me of those bokeh spots.

I stamped the circles using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and
heat embossed using some clear embossing powder.

I ink blended the background using Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick.
I then flicked water onto it to get then fun water spots and to get it to start oxidizing.

I stamped the sentiment with the same Versafine black ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rosewater and Pale Periwinkle and put the purple in the pink area and the pink drops into the purple area.

I made this card for a friend of mine and she loves purple so I placed the thanks in the pink section to leave the purple be the stand out.

Thank you for visiting!
See you next time,
Cher
