Thank you card with Distress Oxide Resist Background and Alltenew Halftone Circles Stamp Set and Die

Hey Everyone!

I just love this Altenew Halftone Circles Stamp Set. They are so simple but man look stunning with a distress background. It almost reminds me of those bokeh spots.

I stamped the circles using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and
heat embossed using some clear embossing powder.

I ink blended the background using Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick.
I then flicked water onto it to get then fun water spots and to get it to start oxidizing.

I stamped the sentiment with the same Versafine black ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
I used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rosewater and Pale Periwinkle and put the purple in the pink area and the pink drops into the purple area.

I made this card for a friend of mine and she loves purple so I placed the thanks in the pink section to leave the purple be the stand out.

Thank you for visiting!
See you next time,

Distress Oxide Resist Background and Altenew Halftone Circles Stamp Set and Die

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a card featuring the new Altenew Halftone Circles stamp set and coordinating die.

I stamped the circles with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I  smooshed some of the Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and Cracked Pistachio on my craft mat and spritzed water onto them.

I then pounced the paper into the inks.
I would dry the paper and then pounce again to get fun splotches all over.
While I was drying with the heat tool I would spray water onto it.

I stamped the sentiments in Versafine Black Onyx ink and popped the "crafty friends are best "bit onto some foam tape to add some dimension.
I went over the Hello with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush pen in clear to add some shimmer.

The last step was to add some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Grey Mist.

Thank you for visiting!
See you next time!

Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Die on Rainbow Distress Oxide Blended Background

Today I have a simple but colorful Birthday card!

The background is made from blending Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber and Broken China.  These inks blend so awesome and with just these three colors it made a great rainbow background.

I cut the blended piece and black background with the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Set.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Die for the sentiment and accented with Nuvo Jewel Drops in Grey Mist.

See you next time!

8 cards using the Simon Says Stamp February 2017 Card Kit

Hey Everyone!
I was going to do a few posts on all the cards I made from the February Simon Says Card Kit but.....
I got too busy with work and you know life happened.

Soon we will be getting the March Kits and decided to just put up one mega post with all the cards I made from this really awesome and adorable kit. My kit was missing the stickers but I wrote to SSS and they sent out to me later on but I forgot to take a pic of them.

Left: I  used the Doodle Bug pattern paper and used these adorable coffee mug stickers. Added the embellishment of the Sugar Papers Crate Paper epoxy circles and  stamped the sentiment from the SSS Coffee and Tea Stamp Set. I put it  all onto a SSS Doll Pink Card base.

Right:  I really wanted that fun pattern paper to be the star of this card. The sentiment and travel mugs are from the Doodle Bug sticker sheet and accented with Strawberry Coulis Nuvo Drops. I used some bright blue card stock from my stash as the card base.

Another quick one to put together. I used the pattern paper from the background and cut this strip using the patter pack as well. I used the 3D Doodle Bug Stickers for the travel cup and coffee beans. I put it all onto a SSS Surf Blue card base.

Time for a shaker card. I used some more of the pattern paper for the background and cut out the circle using the SSS Stitched Circle Dies. I made the frame from the same die set out of some craft card stock in my stash.  Inside the shaker is a mish mash of Martha Stewart chunky glitter, seed beads and sequins.

This one is probably my favorite. I just love the quote that came in the SSS coffee and tea stamp set. I also how pretty monochrome it is and then those pops of red. I used my Mini Misti to stamp all the tea cups for the background and fussy cut the tea bag after stamping and heat embossing it.
I used my Zig Clean Color Real brush markers to color in the hearts and tea bag. I used the SSS Stitched Circle Die to cut the circle for the sentiment out of craft card stock in my stash. I finished off with adding glossy accents to the hearts.

Another simple one using just the pattern paper in the kit. I cut the banner shape and Nina Desert Storm card stock using the MFT Die-namics Blueprints 13 dies.  Embellished with the same epoxy circles in the kit and put onto a SSS Surf Blue card base.

Left: This shaker is made with pattern paper on outside and inside the shaker bit. I used the SSS stitched circle dies to create a frame. I used some Martha Stuart chunky glitter in this great brown color and the Sugar Papers Crate Paper Stars. The travel cup is made from the die in the kit and colored with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Right: I used the same method with the background as the teacup background by using the Mini Misti. I heat embossed the sentiment using Ranger Super Detail White Embossing Powder.

Thank you for stopping by for this mega post!
I can't wait to get the March Kit and start playing around with some adorable Easter cards!
Till next time!

Valentine's Distress Watercoloring using the Simon Says Stamp You Matter and All My Love Stamp Sets

Hello Crafty People!

I am here today to show you a card I made that I am pretty sure will be the one
I give to my hubby on Valentine's Day

I wanted to play with the distress inks to do some water coloring.
I first stamped my sentiment in Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I used the YOU from the Simon Says Stamp You Matter stamp set.

I took the I Love and the To The Moon And Back from the
Simon Says Stamp All My Love stamp set.

I had to cut the you off of the to the moon and back part but
cutting my stamps apart doesn't freak me out. :-)

I then used Distress Inks in Candied Apple, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries.
I wanted to keep it mostly red since giving to the hubs.  I dried it with my heat tool and
then flicked water onto it to get the spots.

Sprayed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to give it a overall sparkle and cut out using the MFT Die-namics Blueprints 13 stitched rectangle die.

I put it all onto a black matter and applied to a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you next time!

Valentine's Card using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die

Hello Again!

Valentine's day is getting closer, are you prepared? Do you do anything special on the day or will it be another Tuesday?  Pretty obvious I will have a card for my hubby but I am not huge into the day for gifts but I do like letting those I love know how much they mean to me.

Today I have a card using the same pattern paper from that Paper Studios All Seasons Three paper pack and using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die.

I used that same Valentine's Day Sentiment from the Silhouette Design Store but this time with a white background and then set onto black card stock that I cut using the
W plus 9 stitched rectangle die. I then added a few sequins and attached to a light pink card base.

Thank you for visiting and see you next time!

Final Plaid Valentine's Day Card using the My Favorite Things Plaid Background Builder Stamp Set

I told you there were three of them. :-)

I really had fun with this background using some non traditional Valentine's colors.
That bit of teal is just great.

I again used Distress Inks for the stamping. I used Abandoned Coral, Spun Sugar and Peacock Feathers. I cut it out using that MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die set but I did not use as just a frame.

Since it was so simple I just felt it needed something so I flicked on some white acrylic paint mixed with water onto it and added a few clear sequins.

I used the same sentiment from the Silhouette Design store but I didn't have card stock to match so instead I smoothed the abandoned coral pad onto the sentiment and then covered in Versamark and used clear embossing powder to make it all looking sleek.

I then popped it all on a white card base.

I hope you enjoyed this card and I will see you next time!!

Valentine's card using Lori Whitlock Diamond Stacking Card Base

Hey Everyone!

I just love the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection Crazy Dogs.
They are just too goofy and adorable.

I used the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection Crazy Talk and Crazy Things Stamps for the sentiment , flowers, heart candy box and hearts.

I stamped the sentiment on this "torn" die from the My Favorite Things Die-namics Blueprint 13 set.

I colored everything using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended out with a water brush pen.

The background is the Lori Whitlock A2 Stacking Card base in the Diamond pattern from the Silhouette Design Store.
These backgrounds are just three different pieces I cut from some white card stock.
I liked the white diamonds but
I wanted just a bit of color in the red at the very bottom as the back panel.

After i had everything attached to the black card base I added some Glossy Accents to his eyes and the tag on his collar.

Thank you for coming over to check out this card and stay crafty till next time!

Another Plaid Valentine's using the My Favorite Things Plaid Background Builder Stamp Set

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great Weekend!

Today I have to show you the second of the three plaid Valentine's cards using the My Favorite Things Plaid Background Builder Stamp Set

This time I went with a actual pattern and I only used the solid stamps in the set.

Since I am newer with stamping I am limited on my colors in the Memento Dew Drops but I have the entire collection of the Distress Inks. I knew the Distress Inks would be a bit splotchy but I was ok with that.  I used Distress Inks in Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold and Carved Pumpkin and then
used Stampabilities in Dark Pink.

I also added some water droplets to it to add to the distressed look.  I cut it down using the stitched rectangle die in the Die-namics Blueprints 13.

I again used the Simon Says Stamp All My Love Stamp set for the sentiment, I stamped in Versafine and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I also water colored the hearts using Distress Ink in black soot with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush pen.  I just love how the black mat and lettering backs the background look so bright .

I have one more plaid card to show you and hopefully you are not sick of them!
Have a great day!

Valentine's Day card using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Chevron Segments Cover Up

Happy Weekend!

I have another Valentine's Day card for you today.

I am fairly new to using dies for my card making so a lot of the dies I have gotten have been from My Favorite Things. I'm trying to stick to the very versatile dies and the one I  used today was the Die-namics Chevron Segments Cover up.

The patterned paper I used was from this Paper Studios All Seasons Three paper pad I got from Hobby Lobby. I just love the black and grey with the traditional pink and red.

I used a sentiment I got from the Silhouette Design Store and blew it up to fill out the card and then coated the red in a bot of Wink of Stella clear to give it some shine.

Birthday Box Card

I have been making lately more cards without the help of my Silhouette machine
but I had to make a box card for my friend at work Jon.

I started my card making journey around October of 2016. I was addicted to making box cards that were in the Silhouette store, especially ones made by Lori Whitlock.
I have a few friends that have the whole collection of box cards that I had.
This was the last one to finish his collection!

I again used a Lori Whitlock design from the Silhouette Design store.  I used random pattern paper from a some Hobby lobby paper pads. I also added glossy accents to the balloons and the candle flame.

I also used the Technique Tuesday pull strip tag on the envelope!

Thank you for visiting and see you next time!

Valentines Plaid Using the MFT Plaid Background Builder Stamp Set

Hi, I'm Cher and I am addicted to stamping plaid.

I got the My Favorite Things Plaid Background Builder Stamp Set and
all I want to do is make everything plaid!

This is the first of 3 plaid Valentine's cards that I have made.

I used four different reds and pinks for the stamping: Stampabilities in Dark Pink and Bubblegum Pink and Memento Dew Drops in Lady Bug and Lilac Posies.

Ok so I have to admit to something else. When I did my last MFT order I thought I ordered the scalloped rectangle dies and not the Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames.  Yeah I could have returned it but... I knew that wasn't gonna happen so I just pieced it all back together and I am just gonna lie to myself that it is one full piece.

I also used the MFT Stitched Sentiment Die to add the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp All my Love stamp set onto.

I stamped the large Love from the same SSS set in Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and of course I had to add a few sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day everyone!!
